Are you proud of the efforts most migrants have made to Australia ?

I have come to know an array of people from different backgrounds. I admire the courage shown by some to make an honest effort against the odds. We are lucky here that immigration only accepts certain "point holders" and they make a great contribution. Often Phillipinos etc have overcome mive hardships getting here, the young Sri Lankans at the local 7/11 work all night and often have tertiary qualifications and support families in poverty back home, good on them ! They make a great effort, unlike some minorities who live of their fathers money and think their above the Australian way of life. If the young lebanese hoods don't want to be here why don't they just go to Beirut ?
