Is this just me that thinks this?

Did all of you watch the mlb home run derby this season? Well, do you know how the band "Train" performed Hey Soul Sister right before the derby started? Well, is this just me, or did the singer of Train's vocals really, really suck? He really did suck I think. Either that or the microphone was giving him feedback or something. I think they use a lot of computer effects these days so the vocals are so much better when they make the song, but in public, they suck.
