How could an ozone hole over Alberta affect agriculture and the human population?

ozone layer protects us frm harmful radiations like uv rays.if it gets destroyed, it results in the uv rays reaching our earth.if our skin is exposed to uv rays for a long period of time it results in rashes on our skin & in severe cases it causes skin cancer also. with regarding to plants, many crop plants cannot withstand the uv rays & die in worst cases.
