My 8 year old Daughter is diogonised with jaundice. Pl advice?

This is most probably hepatitis A, if she has not been vaccinated against it. This is self limited and will go by itself in 2 to 4 weeks. There is no special treatment and no dietary restriction. Let her eat everything she wants. Nausea and vomiting subside in about one week. no special rest is required. Let her be as active as she wants. The virus is excreted in stools. Stools are infective for about 7 to 10 days. There is no chronicity and she will recover fully.
