When admitted atheist Jim Jones & 908 of his followers (90% atheists) committed m suicide in 1976 (cont)...?

Christianity isn't a danger, Christian fundamentalism is. Atheists have no political power to speak of in the USA; Christian fundamentalists have lots of it, and attempt to use it to har and attempt to control other people. The Jonestown m suicide happened in 1978, not 1976. The denomination to which he belonged, the Christian Church/Disciples of Christ does not have bishops. Jones was crazy. I wouldn't necessarily take anything he said at face value.
