Good question. Really, I think that as we get older, we are less and less preoccupied with the way we look. Also, we're looking to have more kicks in life. A similar pattern is that the majority of people on nudist colonies tends to be old people. As well, I think that we also get over all of our romantic notions of "Waiting for you knight in shining armor", because they realize it's fairly elusive. And if you're married, you probably get in "The rut" and just go do it for some variety.
