Does dark hair (brown in this case) make your facial features stand out more?

I'm blonde now with quite a few brown low-lights in my hair. Everyone is begging me to go ALL brown (eeek!) as in, REALLY really dark brown. So, I made the appointment w/my stylist but now I'm having second thoughts and don't wanna tell them, lol!!! The problem: I'm not a hugh fan of my nose, it's kinda I dunno... not my favorite feature we'll say lol. I had heard that coloring your hair a DARKER color will only draw attention to your facial features. I don't really feel that way with the blonde hair? My hair texture is VERY fine, (like, annoying fine) so the added highlights always help add a little texture I think. Will the brown make my hair look more "blah" and lifeless??? ANY help on this is greatly appreciated!!!
